Feb. 7 (Tues.):

Math - (4-HW6):
1. Draw a figure of the region bounded by y = cos x, the x-axis, x = -pi/2, and x = 3pi/2.
2. Show that the area of a horizontal ellipse centered at the origin with semi-major and semi-minor axes of lengths a and b, respectively, is pi*a*b.

Physics:
1. Quiz--conceptual and problem solving--on the first seven reports (UV Catastrophe, Quantization of Energy, Photoelectric Effect, X-rays, Compton Scattering, de Broglie Waves, Wave Functions). Closed notes this time.
2. Even more reporting.
3. Return LT1 with parent's signature.

Physics - Quiz again on all of the topics (not sure about this; it may be only from wave functions to wave-particle duality). Closed notes this time. Really.
