**Econ articles due tomorrow, 4 P.M., at the guardhouse. Submission on Monday will give you -10.

Feb. 20 (Mon.):

Bio:
1. By group, answer the questions for the previous activity on DNA fingerprinting (Write your answers on the manila paper.):

  1. What are some other possible uses of this technology? What are some other benefits and problems associated with DNA fingerprinting?
  2. If a genetic disease were carried in your family, would you want to be tested for it? Would you want your unborn child tested for it?
  3. Who should be given access to information gained from DNA fingerprinting?
  4. There are many issues involved in this topic. What further information do you think you need in order to continue discussing these questions and to make informed decisions about this technology?

2. Quiz on medicine (credits to Jamie); next group (agriculture and food) reports.

Chem - Practical test.


Feb. 21 (Tues.):

Bio - LT (on mutations, control of gene expression, and recombinant DNA technology. No reporting topics yet.)

Econ - LT on International Trade (not sure, but I think money and banking is not included)

Math:
1. 4-Q12 (Last quiz).
2. 4-PS1 (Last problem set posted in the Yahoo group).

English:
1. Individual presentations continue with Radney, Marco, and Jeorge (and possibly Jaren, Anjelo, and Bianca).
2. Reporting on the reading selections continues.

Physics:
1. Complete the negative beta decay reactions and answer the questions on positive beta decay (you do want the Snoopies Hello Kitties, don't you?).
2. Start whatever you need to do for the debate (props, banner, research, cheer).


Feb. 22 (Wed.):

Physics:
1. Particle physics handout. Write the answers on both 1 whole IP (to be submitted) and on the handout itself (attach this to your notebook).
2. Quiz on radioactive decay and particle physics.


Feb. 23 (Thurs.):

Bio - Quiz on agriculture and food; last group (ecology and evolution) reports.

Fil - Play

English:
1. Continuation of individual presentations (Marco, Jaren, Anjelo, Bianca)
2. Continuation of reporting on the reading selections

Math - 4-LT2 (Last long test!)

Physics - LT2


Feb 24 (Fri.):

Econ - Deadline of the actual Pisay Econ Magazine.

February 25: Pass the magazine @ Jollibee Philcoa by 4:30 PM: +/- 0.

February 26: Same venue, by 4:30 pm, -6.

February 27: CST Unit, by 4:30 pm, -12.
